Shea Serrano (a great Twitter follow, btw) over at Grantland posted an article discussing anti-mascots. Apparently a MLB team created a mascot in 1984 intended for not only opponents and their fans to hate, but also for their own team and fans to hate. Shea explains this and then lists some NFL and NBA teams which he feels should get anti-mascots, as well as a proposal for each team's anti-mascot.

This got me thinking - what other teams, college or pro, does everyone think could use an anti-mascot? Obviously Notre Dame already got one with that bastard leprechaun, but perhaps the Wolvies up in Michigan could get one (Dumpy the Dumpster Fire, perhaps?). The possibilities are endless.
For what it's worth, the Browns made his list:
...try out the new mascot, Incinerator, a man dressed as a wave who sets himself on fire when he realizes he's a Cleveland Browns fan...If your franchise is just going to live in football purgatory forever, you might as well lean all the way into it.
