I was super bored at work so I decided to get an idea of how the B1G is doing compared to the good ol' boys down south in terms of recruiting top talent. In 247's Top250, the Big Ten is tied with the SEC with 23 Top250 commitments.

A lot of the top talents have B1G schools in their final [insert random number here] choices (i.e Kaindoh). It's good to see some sort of push being made from schools like Rutgers, Nebraska and Maryland to try to even the talent gap. Our Bucks are, and will more than likely continue, leading the pack. And, obviously this is very early in the recruiting season and, let's be honest, the SEC will finish strong as always while working to steal top commits from the lower tier B1G schools. But, it's nice to see some momentum going at schools where business casual attire isn't required for a sporting event.
