After seeing who Day has brought in via the transfer portal, and all the upperclassmen who decided to return for next year, it got me to wondering: How did McCord's decision to transfer out factor into that, if at all? If he had stayed, would Day have gotten Will Howard? Would Ebuka, Trey, JTT, etc. have chosen to leave, or did they think that having a different QB was a net positive and gave them a better shot at the CFP? This is all speculation, I know, unless someone has connections inside the Woody. Thoughts?
