While everyone was been ranting about the offense and Ryan Day …. A forgotten thing the last two OSU games was Sonny Styles play , without Lathan Ransom , it forced Styles to play some safety & a common trend that I noticed was that he took very poor angles in filling gaps that both resulted in long rushing gains. One against Corum that EASILY could allowed osu to limit UM to a FG & another against Mizzou that led to a TD.

I do think Sonny Styles is EXTREMELY talented, but I also think the pipe dream that he is a Safety or even a deep safety is a fever dream. He is growing in size rapidly & i do believe long term he is a LB with good coverage skills. I think for his future , he continues to develop as LB who can possibly sit in coverage like a safety on occasions
