Thank you for your dedication, sacrifices, efforts, and all of your hard work. Buckeye Nation (most of us) realizes that the game of football is situational and can be impacted greatly from key losses, especially QB, OL, and WR on that side of the ball.

Many fans might not be aware (and it’s ok) that football is the greatest team sport on earth, and it takes all 11 players to succeed. At this level the opposition will easily exploit players that lack experience, and that’s exactly what #9 Missouri did.

I was very impressed with the defense in the Cotton Bowl and saw the struggle of trying to flip the field with a 3rd string freshman QB in the 1st half with his back pinned against the end zone, in a LOUD environment. It made sense to essentially resort to Tressel Ball. Just get through the first half up 3-0 and kickoff with the intent of forcing a punt on a 3 and out. And boom, it happened. Well played sir!!

Unfortunately, from there the O didn’t execute, especially the OL. It happens.

Anyway, we appreciate having great coaches who can recruit, coach, and set our players up for success on and off the field. It’s up to them to take it from there.

I am encouraged for the future based on your past efforts and we were dealt a bad hand at times in 2023. Again, it happens.

Here’s to 2024 - Go Buckeyes!!
