RD love him as a person, is simply not ready for primetime. When you recruit like this and play like that, there's a big F-ing problem in the program, and that points right to the top. It's time to stop making excuses. It's time for a change. With a new AD, this is the time to do it too. RD should resign because he likely knows he can't fix it now. But that's likely not going to happen. Executives in charge don't usually look in the mirror. Instead it's the Board that comes in and says enough. That needs to happen like now. Stop pretending like this isn't the case and stop making excuse for someone making 10mil a year. 

A good interim plan is to bring Urban in for 2-3 years. That will keep the recruiting class in tact and allow the program to go through more of an organic transition instead of a traumatic one. He can anchor the program as it transitions to its new head coach. He may be open to a short term process like this, where he can play the hero again, which is the role he likes, and is best at. 

The biggest problem in the immediate few months is keeping the 5 stars in the recruiting class from transferring. Just like we saw it, every coach at an elite program saw it to. Don't believe for a second they are not in contact with these players and saying to them exactly what Im writing here. If you don't believe this you're simply naive.
