Ohio State held its final full practice of the season on Wednesday morning, and the media was allowed in to watch the first few periods. We didn’t see a lot that we didn’t already see yesterday, as the open periods consisted mostly of field goal and punting practice, but a few quick notes on what we did see:
- Marvin Harrison Jr. and Lathan Ransom were the only starters not in uniform as they were on Tuesday, as all signs continue to point toward Harrison not playing in the Cotton Bowl even though he hasn’t made an official announcement yet.
- Tommy Eichenberg, whose status was described as “up in the air” by Jim Knowles on Tuesday, was not seen going through any drills during the open portion of practice, though he was in uniform.
- Incoming freshman James Peoples was in attendance to watch the practice. He stood alongside Ohio State running backs coach Tony Alford during running back drills.
