Please don’t think my suggestion is pure lunacy,  I have done a good amount of PR outreach in connection with various creative projects I have worked on and there is absolutely a bona fide publicity/human interest angle here.  

Besides, what’s the worst that could happen: somebody says “no”?

Brohio, I wonder how you would feel about this or about being interviewed by any major media outlet.  But, really, your remarkable work could very well lead to such an opportunity if you don’t want to remain anonymous.
