On the surface, Georgia jumping us this week makes sense, and I’m okay with it. They played a top 10 team and won by 35. My issue with it is that when (yes when, not if) we beat #3 TTUN on the road, we won’t get the same treatment. You can bet that after that win (which would be the best win of any team in CFB), we won’t move an inch because the committee will have some version of “well Georgia looks good” or “They didn’t do anything to deserve moving down.” Of course you could apply that same logic to OSU this week, but they didn’t.

So in a vacuum, I’m good with Georgia jumping us this week. It just frustrates me that we won’t be afforded the same logic in two weeks.
