And that competition is OT Dawand Jones!
Dawand Jones has DOMINATED through six games this season:
237 pass blocking snaps
1 sack allowed
1 QB hit allowedJones is the only rookie tackle that has played at least 100 snaps and has allowed just one sack.

Ever since Jack Conklin went down in the season opener, Jones has stepped in and completely walled off his side of the line.
Jones has faced a murderer's row of pass rushers to start the season, including TJ Watt, Nick Bosa, and Trey Hendrickson. He has more than held his own in every single game, engulfing the best pass rushers in the league with his size and agility.
The #Browns got an absolute GEM in Tackle Dawand Jones
Absolutely engulfs pass rushers
Pretty good in the run game
9 total pressures given up all year

Like Stroud, so many false narratives were ascribed to Jones during the pre-draft process.
Jones suffered an injury at the Senior Bowl, and was forced to sit out. A very common practice among players who are banged up.
Suddenly "he doesn't work hard and he's lazy" rumors started being spread about him, to the point where he dropped to the 4th round.
5 rookie tackles have played at least 250 snaps this season.
Browns RT Dawand Jones has allowed the fewest sacks (1) and joint-fewest pressures (10).
He was drafted in the 4th round.

Real Buckeye fans know the truth: Jones was one of the hardest workers on the team who transformed himself from a completely unknown 3 star recruit, to one of the best OTs in the country.
Happy for Big Thanos and his success!
