Admittedly a sensationalist headline, but I’m always an optimistic fan, and these corners have me jacked up.

CB was one of our weakest position groups when Walton was hired. In under two years, he’s transformed it into one of the strongest units on the team. Our CB room is a legitimate weapon moving forward.

Denzel Burke is playing like an All-American. Davison Igbinosun has brought aggression and swagger back to the secondary.

Jordan Hancock is the best Nickel CB we’ve had since Shaun Wade in 2019 - just a straight up playmaker. Even Jermaine Matthews Jr. is bringing the electricity when he’s in the game.

All of our CBs are playing fast, aggressive, and forcing incompletions and turnovers left and right. Two forced fumbles and a pick six - it’s been a joy to watch them play.

If that wasn't enough, Walton has been an absolute beast on the recruiting trail.

2023: Two top ten CBs (Matthews and CSH) and a Top five transfer CB (Went head to head with Michigan and beat them for Igbinosun)

2024: Two top five CBs (West and Scott)

2025: Has us as the early leader for the #1 CB in the country (Sanchez)

Let the cynics say it's just Western Kentucky - they're one of the strongest passing attacks on our entire schedule.

It’s early, but BIA is back baby!
