The East-West Shrine Bowl released its list of the top 1,000 all-star game-eligible NFL draft prospects entering the 2023 college football season on Monday, and 11 Ohio State players made the list:
- TE Cade Stover
- LB Cody Simon
- S Ja’Had Carter
- OT Josh Fryar
- S Josh Proctor
- WR Julian Fleming
- S Lathan Ransom
- OG Matt Jones
- RB Miyan Williams
- LB Steele Chambers
- LB Tommy Eichenberg
All of them are in at least their fourth year playing college football, which is a requirement to play in a pre-draft all-star game. While Ohio State also has a multitude of third-year players who could become prospects for the 2024 NFL draft, they would not be eligible to play in the East-West Shrine Bowl or Senior Bowl if they choose to leave Ohio State as juniors.
