Another member of Mickey Marotti’s strength and conditioning staff is departing for a promotion.
Coastal Carolina announced Saturday that it has hired Ohio State assistant director of strength and conditioning Quinn Barham as its director of strength and conditioning. Barham joins a program led by new Coastal Carolina head coach Tim Beck, who previously worked with Barham in his first year at Ohio State in 2016 when Beck was the Buckeyes’ co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.

Barham, who had been with the Buckeyes for seven years, becomes the second assistant strength coach to leave Ohio State since the end of the season to lead a strength and conditioning staff elsewhere. Niko Palazeti, who was one of Marotti’s assistants for the last six years, was hired by Cincinnati earlier this week as its new director of strength and conditioning.
Thank You to The Ohio State University and the great state of Ohio for an unforgettable 7 years.
