Huge win tonight!
Hate to be that guy focusing on the one negative, but someone’s gotta make a thread about it: Cornerback is quickly becoming the biggest position of concern on the team.
Burke has been awful this year to say the least. He’s been benched multiple times in the past two games for JK Johnson, who’s been okay but clearly inexperienced.
Cam Brown got torched tonight and left early with an injury. And Jordan Hancock has been nursing his own injury for the first three games.
The other two scholarship corners, true freshmen Jyaire Brown and Ryan Turner, look to be too young to be the solution.
Anyone have any ideas on fixing it? Best I can think of is moving someone like Cam Martinez to corner and hoping Hancock can get healthy and is as advertised.
