I know we kick this around time to time that population has hurt Ohio football talent. Some say no but here is a tid bit about that if you agree or not. My son coaches a 9 and 10 year old team in his town. The high school is a smaller division but he has 13 players on the team and last week played another school with the same amount and this week we play Springfield which is a nice little sports town and face the same situation of 12 to 13 players. With so few players I feel for the staffs of these teams and kids that can't scrimmage. We had one take a hit with the heat as temps were around 100 plus on a all weather surface this past Saturday as you can't sub kids in and out. Off topic a bit but talking to one of the offical's they are hard to find too as no one wants to do it these days. Long story short this never use to be players or officals.
