Ricky Brown, who served as Ohio State’s special teams quality control coach last season, is reportedly leaving the Buckeyes to take the same position at Cincinnati, according to Football Scoop’s John Brice.
Brown, a Cincinnati native who played at Elder High School, leaves the Buckeyes for Luke Fickell’s Bearcats after just one season at Ohio State. At Cincinnati, he’ll work alongside former Ohio State assistant coach Kerry Coombs, who is now the Bearcats’ special teams coordinator and cornerbacks coach.
