One of Ohio State’s graduate assistants could be joining Joe Moorhead at Akron.
Yahoo Sports’ Pete Thamel reported Monday that Akron is targeting Billy Fessler, who has been an offensive graduate assistant for the Buckeyes for the past two years, to be its new quarterbacks coach.
Sources: Akron is targeting Billy Fessler as the schools next QB coach. Hes an Ohio State GA, former Joe Moorhead GA at Mississippi State and played QB for Moorhead at Penn State.

In his two seasons with the Buckeyes, Fessler has worked primarily with Brian Hartline as an assistant wide receivers coach. That said, he's a former quarterback at Penn State – where he was coached by Moorhead – and also worked with Moorhead for one year in his last head coaching job at Mississippi State.
