Wondering why we seemed to have the false starts, brain cramps and general lack of crispness...which should have hampered the visitors, right?. But wasn't this the first big-time night home game since before the lockdown season? (Minny was away, and Oregon was a nooner, the others...who cares.) So we have TWO classes of guys who have never been in the shoe on a big-game night; with alternate unis, scarlet out, etc. Apart from maybe their official visits all they would have would be a spectator's view of what to expect. Given the overall youth of the program, I have to wonder if they were kinda bedazzled. Then again, sr. Chris Olave was guilty as one of those false starts. Consider that the nits would have benefitted from that white-out in the Auburn game.
