Havent done one of these in awhile but week 9 is probably the biggest week of the year so far. PSU may have ruined OSU's coming out party but there is still a lot to accomplish in a potential blowout.
Big Game Lines:
- Iowa @ Wisconsin(-3): A surprising line and this Wisconsin win would really hurt OSU's resume. However advanced analytics love Wisconsin who was better than PSU on a down to down basis and played even with Notre Dame until a turnover fest happened. These are two great defenses vs two terrible offenses. Despite it being boring this will likely be the B1G west championship.
- Michigan @ MSU(+3): Both teams are a shocking 7-0 and this is essentially the B1G east semifinal. Not much to say other than it should be a close game between two legit top 10 teams.
- Indiana @ Maryland(-2.5): Loser misses a bowl game. Winner has a really good chance at making a bowl. Not on the same level as other big games but still high stakes for the programs.
- UCLA @ Utah(-5.5): Utah is interesting because they can win the Pac12 South and have Oregon later this year.
- PSU @ OSU(-18.5): This line has moved almost a full touchdown which is bonkers. Even though some analytics have picked up on OSU I dont think many understand the death star is fully operational yet.
- Ole Miss @ Auburn(-2): A somewhat important game because if Auburn keeps winning that can guarantee that PSU stays ranked if they go 8-4.
- Georgia(-14) vs Florida: May be the last test for UGA until the SEC championship game.
- North Carolina @ Notre Dame(-4): This is probably the most underrated game of the week. If Notre Dame wins they have a cake walk to an 11-1 finish which would be incredible for UC.
- SMU @ Houston(PK): Sticking with the big game for UC theme can SMU stay unbeaten for a few more weeks until they play UC? This will be their toughest test. Winner also is likely bound for the AAC championship against UC.
