I recall touching on this topic quite a while back—but I don’t think we ever got down expressly to the nitty gritty of the number of games readers have seen in person over the years.
I might be near the bottom of the barrel in terms of fewest games seen in person: only three! The three were 1) the 1995 Kickoff Classic at Giants Stadium vs Boston College; 2) 2012 vs Illinois at the Shoe; and 3) the 2019 Rose Bowl. On the bright side: they were all wins with each team featuring some all-time greats and some memorable seasons. And, of course, seeing the Rose Bowl was a childhood dream come true many decades later.
So, I would be curious to hear how many total games in person others have seen here. And what was your most memorable away game or venue? Thanks.
