We need a high-IQ, impact player at FS if we’re going to continue with this antiquated single-high, 4 down, man coverage defense.

Josh Proctor is a collision-impact player, but now he’s out again after launching his body in there. 

We have plenty of guys who can play the cover safety or bullet role, but i think it’s time to get Latham Ransom in at Deep Safety.

We have 6-7 different athletes who can work in the slot... but we gotta get the High Safety Fixed!

We recruited Latham Ransom to play deep safety here, he’s only playing down in the slot now because he really impressed the coaches with his ability to cover in there. I’d like to see the coaches try Ransom at FS, and have a plan at CS.
