Walk-on defensive tackle Zaid Hamdan announced Friday that he has entered the transfer portal. He plans to transfer from Ohio State after graduating from the university with a degree in criminology this spring.

Hamdan, who joined the Buckeyes in 2018 and appeared in five games over the past two seasons, recorded four tackles in 2019 but did not record any statistics in 2020. He will bring three years of eligibility to his new school after redshirting in 2018 and all players getting a free year of eligibility in 2020.
