The narrative the last 2 weeks is what motivated this team.  

“Fields is shit”

“The defense is suspect”

“A&M or Cincinnati should be in over Ohio State”

”They haven’t played enough”

”The Big 10 Sucks” (Honestly, northwestern or a full strength Indiana would give Clemson fits)

”Is fields really the number 2 pick in the draft”

”Lawrence is God”

”Etienne is God”

”Venebles is God”

”it’s Alabama and Clemson then everyone else”

I’ve never seen so much disrespect for a blue blood team. Yes, the defense WAS suspect and fields DID play his worse game in Indy, but......we are Ohio State, I don’t want to sound arrogant, but we are one of the best programs in cfb year in and year out.  
 

I don’t think we play like last night without the media and Dabo shitting all over us.
