As almost all of you know, Shaun Wade was fantastic in the slot a year ago. And if it weren’t for a BS targeting call against him we would’ve played for a national title. This year Clemson has been depleted at the receiver position, the one star who has remained healthy is Amari Rodgers. He’s a slot receiver, and by far Clemson’s most dangerous target. If I’m Kerry Coombs I think I’d much rather take my chances will Banks and someone else on the outside with Wade on Rodgers. But who knows. Wade hasn’t played there in a year but I think you just put your best talent on their best talent. Even though there are just 12 days until the game.
