#47 should stay in the starting lineup. He made more plays in 1 game than most the LB corps has all yr. Including an athletic interception in the at a critical juncture, a forced a fumble, a fumble recovery... all this in one outing of full playing time!
I don’t care who was out with covid & who’s projecting back in time for the CFP. We need playmakers at the 2nd level of our defense against teams like Clemson! We can’t settle for guys who just run around out there.
We’ve had a LB corps for 3+ years that is just out there but doesn’t really impact the game in a significant way by making game changing plays.
If Justin Hilliard can make the plays that the others guys have not shown the ability to do with ample opportunities then keep 47 in the lineup and shuffle and ruffle some other feathers. I understand K’Vaugn Pope’s frustration and feel the same way he does about the depth chart.
[Mod edit: One might say Hilliard "played his tail off" and deserves a front page article. Closing this comment and redirecting to where it should've been posted: https://www.elevenwarriors.com/ohio-state-football/2020/12/119499/he-pla... ]
