Given his standing as a rising star in the coaching industry, there are plenty of teams that would love to pry wide receivers coach Brian Hartline away from Ohio State, and according to a report by The MMQB's Albert Breer, some of that interest has come from the NFL.
Breer wrote Monday that the Philadelphia Eagles were interested in hiring Hartline to coach its wide receivers and help with the team's passing game, and that the Indianapolis Colts also “looked hard at Hartline a couple years ago,” but he chose to stay with the Buckeyes.
Asked about the potential opportunities he could have for jobs elsewhere in December, Hartline said at that time that he has “no desire” to leave Ohio State for another job.
“I don't see a situation where I'm out of here any time soon,” Hartline said.
