While Ryan Shazier has already been ruled out for the 2018 NFL season as he continues to recover from a spinal injury, Pittsburgh Steelers general manager Kevin Colbert said last month that the former Ohio State linebacker would continue to have a role with the team.
On Wednesday, that role was helping the Steelers scout potential NFL draft picks at the University of Pittsburgh's pro day.
According to Brian Batko of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, "Shazier appeared to be dutifully taking notes on the 10 Pitt prospects from his wheelchair, ostensibly charting their numbers in the bench press, broad jump and more."
Shazier is set to serve as an honorary coach at Ohio State's spring game on April 14.
