Ohio State great Eddie George was honored by the Walter Camp Football Foundation on Saturday night, when the former Buckeyes running back received the Walter Camp Alumni Award during the organization's annual awards banquet.

George was the Walter Camp Player of the Year in 1995, the same year in which he won the Heisman Trophy. He later went on to a successful NFL career, earning All-Pro honors with the Tennessee Titans in 2000, and has been both an entrepeneur and an actor in his post-football career.
"Eddie’s exploits on the football field were legendary, but his extraordinary talents have extended into the business and entertainment world, truly making him a renaissance man," said Walter Camp Football Foundation president Michael Madera in a release on the foundation's website.
George is the second consecutive Buckeye to receive the Walter Camp Alumni Award, following Orlando Pace. Chris Spielman (2011) and Archie Griffin (1993) have also received the award.
