While Billy Price won the Rimington Trophy – and was also named as a first-team Walter Camp All-American – J.T. Barrett did not win the Davey O'Brien Award, with that award going to Oklahoma's Baker Mayfield instead.
Barrett was one of three finalists for the award, which honors college football's best quarterback, along with Mayfield and Oklahoma State's Mason Rudolph.
Mayfield, who previously topped Barrett in Oklahoma's Week 2 victory at Ohio State, is widely considered the favorite to take home another major individual award – the Heisman Trophy – on Saturday.
