I am glad that it appears Justin got #47 because one of the last greats to wear it was my all time favorite Buckeye AJ Hawk.  I believe retiring numbers is silly.  While I am extremely traditional I find taking a number out of the roster robs future players to make their own mark and legacy on those great numbers.  

The other thing that I don't like about it is your favoring a kid if you tell him "hey you can wear 47 or 45 if you come here"  Those guys are always the big fish and you know not everyone gets that chance.  The other example is the Big Kat wearing 45.  So lets just un-retire all numbers and let new faces make their own legacies with our past favorite players and numbers.

I am excited JH is sporting #47 though and I hope he lives up to number and past greats who wore it.
