According to @IndianaRivals sources, Indiana and Thad Matta had agreed to a deal for Matta to become the next men's basketball coach at Indiana but after failing his physical, the deal has fallen through.

Looks like Indiana has narrowed their search to either Thad Matta or Mike Woodson at this time.
If they don't throw a blank check at Porter Moser then they are making a massive failure.
I just don't see the appeal in bringing Matta in. He has been out of coaching for 4 years now and was struggling greatly at the end of his run at Ohio State. I'm sure his health issues haven't improved greatly since leaving either. Back issues like his don't just get better.
