So if you havent been living under a rock or you're an alien who came from outer space, you should be well aware of the NCAA investigation into UNC academic fraud. For 18 years from 1993-2011 48% of student athletes took part in bogus sham classes. Academic advisers would tell the teachers what grades each of them needed in order to stay eligible. This mostly affects football, and mens and womens basketball. Now since student athletes make up roughly 3% of the student body at UNC, 48% is ALOT. 

What should happen is UNC should get the hammer, death penalty meaning no season for 1 year, after the 1 year no tv games at home for 5 years, a loss of 50 scholarships over 10 years, and the accredidation board should strip UNC of their accredidation. This is not something stupid like selling your own stuff for tattoos, this is a serious problem that should destroy them for years

What will happen is UNC will probably get a slap on the wrist, maybe a fine but no post season ban, no scholarship reduction, and probably wont even lose and wins or titles. The NCAA will claim this is no longer an issue and will probably say that time has been served.
