Junior College Pro Style QB Dwayne Lawson committed to the Fighting Illini last night. Class of '15 Florida kid who was a 4-Star (89.60) coming out of High School, he was originally committed to Miami, then he decommitted, and later committed to Virginia Tech. He transferred out of VT this past summer, headed to Junior College, and last night he committed to Illinois. I'll leave his High School highlights attached below, but he is tall, big arm, athletic (probably more of a Dual-Threat despite the "Pro Style" title). You have to imagine Lovie Smith loves a guy like this, a possible difference maker at QB, something to jump start the Lovie Smith era. This kid would definitely make one of the B1G worst teams a little more interesting.  He had a lot of big offers out of HS including Ohio State. We play Illinois on November 18, 2017, a week before The Game next year.
