NYE in Short North area - Where to eat & watch the game

My wife and I will be in town for NYE and staying at the Crowne Plaza near the Short North.  Looking for some ideas on "best places" to watch the game and grab dinner. 

It's been 20+ years since I've stayed in Columbus, but have heard good things about the improvements to the Short North area.
