I've had a FitBit Flex for 2 1/2 years. I've never really had any issues with it (had to "restart" it a few times) until today. I charged it fully yesterday, and today it stopped working. It's dead.
I contacted customer support to see if there was anything else I could do to revive it, and I basically got the response, "we're sorry to hear that, but there is nothing we can do about it". One thing they did offer me that they didn't have to was 25% off a new one. While I understand that may seem like generous offer to some, I just can't fathom buying a product once every 2 1/2 years every time it dies.
Anyone else have similar experiences? I'd love to hear everyone's opinion.
Also, does anyone use a similar device that may be more durable that they'd recommend? My company offers us $ on our medical account for achieving certain step goals throughout the year, so I do need one for that purpose.
Thanks in advance!
