Connor Stalions jokes will never get old, even after a loss to Michigan in The Game.

Especially for Ohio State fans but even more so when the rest of college football makes jokes about the former Michigan staff member (and superfan) as well.

Following the announcement that the Buckeyes will take on Missouri in the Cotton Bowl, Tigers head coach Eliah Drinkwitz appeared on ESPN's College Football Playoff selection show Sunday afternoon. While discussing his team's season and the upcoming bowl matchup, Drinkwitz couldn't help himself and had to make a joke about Stalions.

“Hey guys, I got a quick phone call, Connor Stalions beeping in right here, I’m trying to get a few signals here so I gotta go,” Drinkwitz said while cracking a smile, referencing the sign-stealing scandal involving the Wolverines. “But as soon as we get done, look forward to competing against Ryan Day and we’ll go from there."

The entire ESPN College GameDay crew couldn't hold back their laughs, either, with plenty of audible laughs heard throughout the short segment.

This isn't the first time Drinkwitz has made a joke about Michigan and Stalions. In late October, he discussed the sign-stealing allegations on the Gojo and Golic show. Drinwitz's response was priceless – again.

Ahead of the first matchup between Ohio State and Missouri since 1998, the No. 7-ranked Buckeyes finished the regular season 11-1 while the No. 9-ranked Tigers finished 10-2, falling to No. 13 LSU and No. 6 Georgia in its 2023 campaign.

Ohio State and Missouri will kick off at 8 p.m. on Dec. 29 on ESPN.
