His dad may be a Hoosier, but Dasan McCullough is still a Buckeye.

Deland McCullough, the father of four-star Ohio State linebacker commit Dasan McCullough was just hired by Indiana as the Hoosiers' running back coach – but that's not changing his commitment status.

After news broke of his father's new job at Indiana, Dasan McCullough made it clear that he'll remain committed to Ohio State – and sparked a little rivalry with his father in the process.

"I'm beyond happy for my dad and this opportunity," Dasan told Hayes Fawcett. "Going to feel good beating him for 3-4 years. Imma Buckeye."

The No. 54 overall player in the 2022 class, Dasan McCullough committed to Ohio State in August and is a member of the Buckeyes' top-ranked recruiting class which also features Gabe Powers and C.J. Hicks – the nation's No. 2 and No. 3 linebackers, respectively.

Dasan McCullough is currently the top-rated player in the state of Kansas, but he will reportedly play his senior season in Indiana.
