Ohio State linebacker Ryan Shazier has been named one of nine semifinalists for the Lott IMPACT Trophy. Shazier leads the Buckeyes with 73 tackles (eighth in Big Ten) and 12 tackles for loss (second). He's also recorded four sacks and forced two fumbles.
IMPACT is an acronym for Integrity, Maturity, Performance, Academics, Community and Tenacity.
