My question is whether it's Boise State's defense being underrated, Maxwell throwing bauser-bombs, or Sparty's O-Line not doing their job.
At one point last year, MSU's OL lacked depth and was considered a makeshift group. Going into this year, they were supposedly a strength, but that puzzled me. I never really handicapped them, though.
That's what I thought. However, it looks like Boise State's DL is tearing them apart. Maybe it's more of a weakness than Sparty wanted to admit. Otherwise, I applaud Boise State's defense.
I really think it's more a coaching issue. BSU D was off balance to start the game but MSU offense has done little to keep them that way. Drives have been either all pass or all run.

I agree! What Peterson spotted was obviously a vulnerability, as all three attempts were dangerous to MSU. You can't say because they just missed on connecting that the vulnerability wasn't there. I can promise you MSU's D coord's heart skipped a few beats on those pass attempts.

Also I think that tomorrow will be a walk in the park for OSU and Bama. Northwestern at Syracuse and Ohio at PSU should both be more interesting I hope. Also, Clemson and Auburn. I do not want an "interesting" OSU game tomorrow.

I watched that game last night and saw 2 not very good teams on the field. Boise had to replace too much and honestly, they just aren't that good. MSU's D looked good, but it was against Boise's bad offense. I don't think Sparty wins their division in the B1G this year.
