Hi Chris, any predictions for tonights game? Lineup switch, more minutes for subs, actually running an offense?
Your guess is as good as mine with this team. I look for Craft to try and force the issue a lot more offensively tonight. This team needs some easy buckets. And I really think the D will turn up the intensity. And Buford goes for 20 because, you know, it's a bad opponent and all.

I hate that rule about the shot clock violation. It should be like soccer, play advantage. We got the clear rebound and could have turned and gotten in transition, but instead Illinois got a free pass to set up their defense.
sometimes blow the whistles, sometimes not. I think we did the same thing on Sat and they didnt blow it.

Great way to come out of a time out that they call to try to kill some momentum. Hit them with the unexpected. Coaches should do this type of thing more often up 22 or not. Best coaching move Matta has made this year.

You're definitely right there... the thing that intrigues me is these guys really aren't one and done's so they will grow, mature, and learn the system. I think that will be huge come future NCAA tournaments.

L. Ross obviously is an offensive talent, but man does he look lost on defense....thats why he doesnt see the court much...
I've said it once, said it before...with basketball, it isn't ever as good as it seems, and its never as bad either.

That certainly couldn't be attributed to the fact that he had a belated enrollment, or that he possibly hasn't fully grasped Matta's defensive system? Heavens no! It's because he's not getting playing time!
Imagine that - make some shots and we win, even if we give up 10 more points than we did on average in the last two losses. We get 80-some points a game, we probably never lose. Good effort - hopefully it did wonders for their shooting confidence.
Illinois has tanked, we cursed them - now that's worth a "Just like football!" chant.
