Skull Session: Georgia Fans' Sad Troll of Justin Fields, Winter Athletes Could Get More Eligibility, and Gee Scott Jr. Looks Like a Monster

I brought my lovely wife to visit my estranged father in The Bottoms this weekend.

In less than 48 hours, we had a minor altercation with his neighbors, overheard a loud disagreement regarding a potential stabbing, and took multiple trips to a bar called "The Patio" that has no patio.

All in all though, we barked with the freaks and didn't get bit. And that's a win in my book.

Word of the Day: Odious.

GOOD TRY, GOOD EFFORT. If there is one school in the world that should under every circumstance refrain from trash talking Justin Fields, it's the one that chased off the Heisman finalist and future top-5 in favor of the Bills' current third-string quarterback.

And if you absolutely must say something, it's gotta be better than this.

First off, why would he be even remotely upset watching you find dip into the fourth spot on your preseason depth chart to find another mediocre starter as he patiently awaits his actual national title contending team's chance to show off its death machine of an offense?

Second, he wasn't on his couch.

In an ideal world, Georgia somehow snags the semifinal spot opposite Ohio State so Fields can bag and tag his former team once and for all.

NCAA IN A GIVING MOOD? The NCAA already blew my mind by just granted a blanket additional season of eligibility to every single fall athlete regardless of if they compete this year, and there's a chance they take it even further.

I'm all for kids getting good things and I'd say this is mostly cool and good, but it's a bit weird that you'd give more eligibility to athletes who are about to play a full season plus NCAA Championships when last year's seniors got nothing.

But regardless, it sounds like Ohio State could take advantage of the move, if it happens.

Now, I have reason to doubt that these two things are related, but if he does get a waiver and can play this season without burning a year of eligibility, then folks, Ohio State's backcourt just got deeper.

GEE SCOTT IS A FREAK. As someone who could still safely wear a child's large shirt as a freshman in college, Gee Scott Jr.'s physique doesn't even compute to me.

Prayers up for the unfortunate souls in the Big Ten that have to play press man against that for the next three to four years.

BACK OFF THE EDGE. Dwayne Haskins' young NFL career admittedly hasn't set the world on fire, but with news coming out this week that Washington could be ready to move on from Haskins if he doesn't start performing better, Haskins' agent couldn't help but clap back.

To be frank, I don't think you could put Patrick Mahomes on that team and expect much more. More than that, who else do you think you're going to get? Prayers up that it doesn't end up being Justin Fields.
