Johnnie Dixon capped an 8-play, 79 yard drive with a 31-yard touchdown catch giving Ohio State a 21-6 lead late in the second quarter. 

Disaster would strike soon after with Michigan scoring back-to-back touchdowns but the Buckeyes still lead 21-19 late in the second quarter.
