The 11W Top Play Poll: Week 13 - Big Ten Title Game Edition

By Kyle Jones on December 5, 2017 at 5:15p

The comeback victory over Penn State certainly appears to be the highest point in an up and down 2017 season.

Though back-to-back victories over Michigan and Wisconsin to end the regular season would normally leave Buckeye fans feeling great about their team, two lopsided losses and a fifth-place finish in the final CFP standings have left many feeling underwhelmed. For those looking back, the dramatic ending in late October seems cathartic, offering sweet relief from the drama brought forth by the Sooners, Hawkeyes, and Crimson Tide.

For proof, look no further than this here weekly poll, as Sam Hubbard's late-game heroics have reigned supreme over all comers in the weeks since. With only the Cotton Bowl remaining, the defensive end looks poised to retain the title and be crowned winner the inaugural 11W Top Play.

But a slew of big plays from last weekend's Big Ten Championship won't make it easy. On to the nominees:

1) Denzel Ward ends a likely scoring drive by baiting the QB into an interception:

2) J.T. Barrett throws an 84-yard bomb to Terry McLaurin for the game's first score:

3) Parris Campbell outruns the entire Wisconsin defense after hauling in a bubble screen:

4) J.K. Dobbins comes up just short of the end zone on a 74-yard run:

THE REIGNING CHAMP: SAM HUBBARD SLAMS THE ENTIRE PENN STATE BACKFIELD FOR AN 8-YARD LOSS

Now it's your turn to vote below for this week's Top Play, which will then face-off against the biggest moments of the Cotton Bowl in the final poll of the season.
