Ohio State's offensive line suffered a blow Saturday, when university medical staff carted starting guard Branden Bowen off the field following a left leg injury in the first quarter against Maryland.
Sources tell Eleven Warriors Bowen fractured both his tibia and fibula and will miss the rest of the season.
Redshirt sophomore Matthew Burrell replaced Bowen at right guard.
After leaving the field, Bowen thanked fans for the support and said he'd be in surgery Friday:
