Ohio State's J.T. Barrett was named as one of the nation's best quarterbacks of the past week for his performance against UNLV on Saturday.
Barrett was one of eight quarterbacks selected as one of this week's "Great 8" by the selection subcommittee of the Davey O'Brien Award, which honors college football's best quarterback each year.
Barrett was selected for this week's list after completing 12 of 17 passes for 209 yards and five touchdowns in just six drives of action in the Buckeyes' 54-21 win over the Rebels on Saturday.
