Just as it will throughout the preseason thanks to heavy construction at the Woody Hayes Athletic Center, Ohio State held a de facto media day for its safeties following Saturday's practices.

After practice, defensive coordinator Greg Schiano and safeties Damon Webb, Erick Smith met with the media. True freshman Isaiah Pryor, seemingly like all other newcomers this season, was not made available. Neither was Jordan Fuller and Jahsen Wint.
