Former Ohio State running back Archie Griffin's two-time Heisman Trophy record is safe for at least another year as Louisville quarterback Lamar Jackson, the 2016 winner, declared for the 2018 NFL Draft on Friday morning.

Jackson completed 59% of his passes in 2017, for 3,660 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 10 interceptions. He rushed the ball 232 times for 1601 yards and 18 touchdowns.

Louisville finished 8-5 this season after a 31-27 loss to Mississippi State in the TaxSlayer.com Bowl.
