According to 247 Sports, Auburn redshirt freshman Jamel Dean is out indefinitely with a knee injury.

Dean, a one-time Ohio State enrollee whom the medical staff medically disqualified last January, was expected to compete for a starting job opposite of Carlton Davis, another one-time Buckeye commit.

Dean, originally a four-star recruit from Cocoa, Florida, did not play in 2015.
