Darrell Hazell is on a tough road rebuilding Purdue, and he's willing to try unorthodox things. Earlier this year, for example, his team rode a bus for a couple hours to simulate a road game. (The Boilermakers only road game this year, at Notre Dame, ended with a 16-point defeat.)
Now, due to some slow second-half starts, the Boilermakers will practice... halftime:
Purdue hosts Iowa on Saturday, so we'll see what practicing halftime does for their second-half starts. It would seem to me sitting around would take away actual practice time, but that's just me.
