BlogPoll Top 25: September 17

This week's SBNation BlogPoll ballot has been submitted and here it is for your viewing pleasure.

With USC losing at Stanford and Michigan State losing to Notre Dame, there was plenty of shifting around this week including a move for the Buckeyes.

1 'Bama smoked an injured Arkansas in Fayetteville, 52-0. Alabama has an extremely well-balanced offense and the usual defense to easily make them the #1 team. The Tide will roll on against FAU this coming week. --
2 With USC's loss, LSU defaults to #2 after a 63-14 shellacking against Idaho. The Tigers go to Auburn next week, which isn't really that appealing of a game this time around. 1
3 The Seminoles keep on pounding their cupcake opponents, but play #10 Clemson this coming week in a very intriguing marquee game.  2
4 As long as De'Anthony Thomas, a.k.a. DAT, keeps making big plays every week, Oregon will be tough to stop. --
5 Similar to FSU, OU has breezed through the last few weeks against a patsy schedule. A visit from #16 Kansas State looms this coming weekend. 2
6 Georgia has been impressive late in games this season and they continue to do so, even against FAU. --
7 The other USC had an easy time against UAB and welcomes Missouri to Columbia, which could be a tough test for the Gamecocks. 2
8 West Virginia has continued to own inferior teams and beat James Madison, 42-12, this week. Maryland visits this weekend. --
9 They did it again! Stanford wowed football fans, taking down favorite USC, 21-14. The Cardinal jumped way up in the polls and deservingly so, after taking down the nation's #2 team. 10
10 Big, big matchup coming this weekend against Florida State. We'll see who's for real in this ACC showdown. 1
11 The Trojans drop after losing to Pac-12 rival Stanford. Will USC have a chance to bounce back for a potential national title trip? Probability definitely got way worse for So. Cal and Matt Barkley must be better to jump back up in the Heisman running. 9
12 Well, Notre Dame looks like they're for real after taking down MSU on the road. Next is another Big Ten opponent with Michigan coming to South Bend this weekend for a big game. If it's anything like last year's game, we're in for a treat. 5
13 In a game that was much closer than it should be versus Cal, Braxton Miller had five TDs (one rush) including a late pass to Devin Smith to go up a score at the end of the game. If OSU wants to be a legitimate top-15 squad, they must improve on many fronts. 1
14 Florida has been way more impressive than anyone thought, taking down a probably overrated Tennessee in Knoxville. UF gets a break against an awful UK squad this weekend. 2
15 The Longhorns look like they may be making a comeback to elite program status. Texas waits for OK State with a bye week coming up. 1
16 A trip to Norman, OK this weekend stands in the way of adding KSU to the top tier of teams this year. 1
17 TCU has been solid this year, owning Kansas, 20-6, this past weekend. Virginia visits this coming weekend. 1
18 Sparty was thought to be the pride of the Big Ten, but after faltering to Notre Dame at home, 20-3, that is still up in the air. MSU seems one-dimensional on offense. Sparty gets Eastern Michigan before welcoming the Buckeyes to town. 8
19 Michigan got to play UMass in Ann Arbor which was over before it even started. A trip to Notre Dame this weekend will be a great one, we think. 1
20 UCLA continues to roll, beating Houston, 37-6. Oregon State, coming off a win over Wisco, is the Bruin's next opponent. --
21 Louisville watched their huge 36-point lead dwindle before eking out the 39-34 win over UNC. The Cards are still the pride of the conference. --
22 Arizona has a huge trip to Eugene to take on the #4 Oregon Ducks this weekend which could help shape up the Pac-12 race a bit. --
23 Mississippi State sneaks into the top-25 by default after beating Auburn last week (big deal) and winning at Troy by six. --
24 Nebraska lost to UCLA last week, but now that loss doesn't look so terrible. Nebraska gets a breather vs. Idaho State this weekend. --
25 Boise State got their first win over Miami-OH, 39-12. Their only loss of the year came at Michigan State a few weeks back. --
